Gardens of the World is open Tuesday through Saturday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm (Last entry is 4:30 pm). The Gardens is closed Sunday and Monday, most national holidays, and during inclement weather.
Groups of 6 or more people and/or any number of people from a club, facility, center, business, church, etc. must make a reservation at least 72 hours in advance. This applies whether a tour is being requested or the group is planning a
self- guided walk around the Gardens. Dates and times are subject to availability. Please call the office to make a reservation. (805) 557-1135.
Docent guided tours of the Gardens of the World are available Tuesday through Friday and run approximately 45 minutes in length. Docent led tours are an exciting way to learn about the different garden areas, plants, and culture.
For those who just want to stroll around the Gardens at leisure, we have a Self-Guided Garden Tour brochure with interesting facts and useful information. The Gardens are accessible.
For the enjoyment and safety of all guests, please follow our Regulations and Photography Guidelines.
We cannot accommodate private functions such as weddings, receptions, birthdays, family reunions, group gatherings, meetings, luncheons, bar mitzvahs, parties or ceremonies of any type.
The Gardens may be closed due to inclement weather. Please call ahead to confirm or reschedule your visit if the weather is questionable.
No Pets are allowed.
Photography
Formal photography is not permitted at the Gardens of the World. This includes professional or amateur photography for commercial or non- commercial, special events, engagements, couples, family groups, birthdays, quinceanaras, graduation, wedding, maternity etc.
