How to Find Us |
|
Docent guided tours of the Gardens of the World are available. The tours are conducted Tuesday through Sunday and run approximately 45 minutes in length. Docent led tours are an exciting way to learn about the different gardens, plants and cultures. The Gardens are handicapped accessible. Reservation are required for group visits, Docent led tours and formal or posed photography. All other guests who would like to take photos of the Gardens must check in at the office upon arrival. The Gardens may also be available for select fundraising events. To schedule a tour or group visit, or to inquire about holding a fundraising event at the Gardens, please contact Marianne Coulson at (805)557-1135 extension 0. To make reservation for a photography session, please call (805)557-1135 extension 3. The Gardens may be closed due to inclement weather. Please call ahead to confirm or reschedule your visit. After scheduling your tour, please return to this page and print out the Tour Guidelines, with useful information about the Gardens and our Map. We put together a packet of Learning and Fun Pages for children. A Children’s Activity Guide is also available for printing. For those who just want to stroll around the Gardens for their leisure, we prepared a Self-Guided Garden Tour brochure with interesting facts and useful information. We also ask our visitors for the enjoyment and safety of all guests, please be aware of and follow our Regulations and Photography Guidelines. |
