Garden Tours

Docent guided tours of the Gardens of the World are available Tuesday through Friday and run approximately 45 minutes in length. Docent led tours are an exciting way to learn about the various garden areas, plants, and culture. Please be advised that tours are not always available without a reservation. Groups of 6 or more people and/or any number of people from a club, facility, center, business, church, etc. must make a reservation at least 72 hours in advance. This applies whether a tour is being requested or the group is planning a self- guided walk around the Gardens. Dates and times are subject to availability. Rules And Regulations

The Garden rules and regulations are designed to help you and others have an enjoyable visit while protecting the Garden's unique and fragile cultural and natural resources. The posted signs throughout the Gardens are there for the safety of all visitors. Additionally, you can enhance the peace and tranquility of our beautiful cultural gardens and increase the enjoyment of others by following the rules.

  • Reservations are required for Docent-led tours and group visits.
  • No private events, meetings, parties, or ceremonies of any type are permitted. We cannot accommodate private functions such as engagements, weddings, receptions, birthdays, family reunions, group gatherings, meetings, luncheons, bar mitzvahs, parties or ceremonies of any type.
  • Individuals under 18 years of age must always be accompanied by an adult.
  • Visitors, wheelchairs, and strollers must remain on the sidewalks.
  • Removal of plants, flowers, shrubs, fruit, or signs is prohibited.
  • Please keep hands, feet, and all items out of the fountains and ponds.
  • Food and beverages are allowed only in the picnic area and Bandstand lawn area.
  • Items may not be left unattended anywhere in the Gardens.
  • Please stay off the grass in all areas, except for grass in front of Bandstand.
  • Glass containers and grills are not permitted.
  • No running on sidewalks, climbing, standing, or sitting on fountains, rocks or railings.
  • No bicycles, skateboards, skates, scooters, frisbees, balls, or other sport or play equipment.
  • No pets are allowed
  • No alcoholic beverages.
  • No smoking or vaping.
  • Shirts and shoes must always be worn.
  • Music and instruments are not allowed.
  • Soliciting is prohibited.
  • The Gardens may be closed due to inclement weather. Please call ahead to confirm or reschedule your visit if the weather is questionable.

The right to use the Gardens of the World is subject to the control of the owner and may be revoked at any time. Entry and use of the Gardens is at your own risk. The owner and management of the Gardens of the World is not responsible for any injury or damage to any person or property even if caused by the negligence of the owner, its employees, or agents.
